Dinner at Graydon's Restaurant downstairs was exceptional. The head chef was off that evening, but the sous-chef did an incredible job. My homemade pasta was delicious, and my husband's beef was cooked to a perfect medium-rare. The menu felt creative and unique, the presentation was lovely, and the quality and price were much better than at a typical chain restaurant. In the morning, breakfast arrived outside our door in a cooler: fresh-baked muffins, a generous serving of cut oranges and assorted berries, cheese, orange juice, and a small bottle of sparkling wine for mimosas. The inn itself feels like stepping into another time. The beautiful 200-year-old brick building was only 30 minutes from home, but still felt like an escape. Our room was immaculate, decorated with period-appropriate furniture and details, and had a coffee and tea maker and cookies. Every room has its own decor and artwork, so a return visit could feel completely different. The binder about the Inn's history and the hosts is worth reading, and check out Graydon's picture at the bar. You'll fall in love with him. John and Steve are wonderful hosts who take time for real conversation. When my husband called to book, they turned on the heat in our room so it would be warm when we arrived. Their thoughtful touches made all the difference. It was exactly the break we needed, and we'll definitely return.

The Woodview Inn felt like home, with a quiet elegance that made our wedding day deeply personal and special. From our first visit through the day we arrived for the wedding, the warm, comfortable atmosphere helped us and our guests relax and be present. The Inn is intimate, cozy, refined, and full of charm, but the people made the experience unforgettable. The team anticipated needs, handled every detail gracefully, and supported us from start to finish. Thanks to them, the day felt calm, joyful, and effortless, and we could take in every moment without stress. Our guests still tell us how welcomed they felt, and they're raving about the food. John & Steve went above and beyond to care for us and all our guests. The time and effort they put into making the day magical mean more than we can say. Choosing the Woodview Inn was one of our best decisions. The memories will stay with us for life, and we can't imagine having celebrated our wedding anywhere else. We can't recommend it enough to anyone wanting a beautiful, heartfelt venue.

John and Steven were so kind and sweet, and couldn't do enough for their guests. Their hospitality experience and interior design backgrounds show in the careful details and attention to everyone's comfort. The meal in their quaint dining room was superb, I loved every bite. In the morning there was a well-stocked coffee and tea station, plus a really good continental breakfast delivered to our room in cute, practical coolers. It included a wide range of foods and even a cheeky bottle of Prosecco to start the day. My partner, my sister, and I stayed at the Woodview Inn while my sister was going to her Queen's Homecoming weekend and we were headed to Kemptville. We decided to make time to see each other. I chose the Woodview because its reviews were good and the online pictures looked nice. What an understatement! It's one of the nicest inns I've had the pleasure of staying at. Everything is carefully put together, with personal touches and treasures from life's travels. There are lovely tributes to the families throughout the house. If you want a refreshing getaway at a beautifully appointed inn with two charming, kind hosts, you'll want to book the Woodview!

John and Steve made us feel like honored guests in their home, with thoughtful, warm service from the first hello to our goodbye. The inn itself is just as memorable: beautifully restored historic architecture, lovely interiors, and a calm, comfortable room with spotless furnishings and art that made it feel relaxing. Set in the heart of the Thousand Islands in Gananoque, it was exactly the mix of old charm and modern comfort we wanted. We’re already looking forward to coming back. Thanks, John and Steve, for such a special stay.

The little details really made our visit memorable, and the staff were so welcoming and friendly. Our room was tidy, with a very comfortable bed, and the inn had a warm, lovely feel throughout. We had a wonderful stay and would happily recommend it.
