Jill made us feel completely supported and safe, with a calm, almost motherly way of hosting. We’re not used to traveling abroad and are still building confidence, so that meant a lot. The hosts were genuinely kind throughout our four nights at Rae Leigh Heights BnB, and we felt respected as guests. Each morning, they served a hot breakfast made just for us. It was very clean, quiet, and had comfortable bedding, even for picky sleepers like us. The view was amazing, and it felt like home while we explored the greater Victoria area. A remarkable bed and breakfast, especially for couples young or old who value beauty, security, cleanliness, accommodation, and quiet. We’d absolutely return if life allows.

The view from the property is stunning, and the sweet dogs Luna and Abby, plus a mysterious friendly cat, made the stay extra charming. We’re already hoping to return. Jill was a warm, gracious host, while Mark’s breakfast, especially the crispy bacon and hashbrowns, was a delicious start to each day. We came for a girls’ weekend, with Butchart Gardens and shopping in Victoria on the agenda, and Rae Leigh Heights B&B was a perfect fit. The Gardens were ideally located for us, and the accommodations were spotless, cozy, and welcoming. Highly recommended!

Jill was a warm, down-to-earth hostess, and they responded quickly and were able to accommodate most requests. We also enjoyed the clean hot tub. The property is gorgeous, restful, and hospitable, with a killer view, and it’s well located for Sidney, Butchart Gardens, and Brentwood Bay. It’s an easy, beautiful drive to Sidney, where you can check out the bakery on Beacon. From Brentwood Bay, you could take the ferry to Mill Bay, loop down the Malahat, through Victoria, and back up to the B&B. My one reservation is that the room and grounds felt a little tired to me. To be fair, they were short staffed, and one owner was recovering from surgery, which must be challenging during high season.

The generous, delicious breakfast was made by the owner, who built the house for his family in the 1980s. Our two-night stay at RaeLeigh Heights B&B was a pleasure. The view was wonderful, the pool refreshing, and the hot tub was relaxing in the evening. Though the bedrooms are next to each other, each faces the view and has its own private outdoor sitting area. The two resident border collies are lovely. It’s quite close to Butchart Gardens, so it works well if you’re planning a visit.

The owners made us feel like family while treating us like royalty, and they’re about the nicest hosts you could meet. We’ve traveled around the world and stayed at many lovely B&Bs, but this was our best experience by far. The property is pristine, with a multi-million dollar view. Our comfortable room had patio doors onto the back garden, heated pool, and hot tub. The made-to-order English breakfast was exceptional. It’s a place to get away from everything: just birdsong and eagles soaring overhead. Paradise found!
