Une Fleur au Bord de l'Eau

We stayed in the La Pensée room and were pleasantly surprised, especially after reading some negative reviews. It was just the right size for us traveling light, and the roll-down curtain made the room dark enough for a comfortable night's sleep. There was also a shed where we could store our bikes, and the cat who greeted us was adorable. Booking was smooth and hassle-free. We only wish we could have paid online instead of by e-transfer.

We loved it and would definitely recommend it. We spent the weekend here for a concert just down the road, and the place was perfect. It's a gorgeous home with wonderful amenities: a pool, hot tub, BBQ to use, and a full kitchen. The rooms have private balconies if you're staying upstairs. 😊💕

The pool was a good size, and having bike storage and a high-quality breakfast made the stay even better. The rooms were comfortable, and we could use the BBQ to prepare dinner. Genevieve was a friendly, flexible host who responded quickly and accommodated us, and her team was supportive too. It’s a perfect Granby base for bike tours, especially with a large group. We’d highly recommend it and hope to come back.

We were made to feel at home by the hostess, who was really helpful and went out of her way for us. The B&B sits in a lovely garden right beside the river. There’s a dedicated bike path over 50 km long about 200 m away, with a bike rental shop nearby. Just a few minutes’ walk away, we found an excellent restaurant with good food, coffee, atmosphere, and service, without being too expensive.
