John B's Oceanfront Cottages

Wayne made us feel welcome and was a great host. The clean, comfortable cottages are almost tucked away at the end of a dirt road, yet they're still about 30 minutes from everything we wanted to do in central PEI. The view over Tracadie bay is unbeatable, whether you're having morning coffee or watching the stars at night.

The cottage was clean, modern, and well stocked. Wayne even left a full-size bar of soap, unlike the little ones you get at other places. We stayed three days at the end of August 2020 and found the waterfront setting very peaceful and quiet, with a great view of the water. Charlottetown and the lobster supper at New Glasgow were a short distance away. The mosquitoes were a nuisance at certain times of day, and one of the screens on the screened porch had been removed. There is a narrow beach area down some stairs, but it needs cleaning up before it's enjoyable. It has great potential.

I've stayed here many times over the years. The owner is very friendly, and the cottages are kept up really well. I'd recommend it. A+
