The location across from the arena used to make this a great choice for our sports team, and we'd stayed here for that for three years. Each year had been good, but the policies have changed. Teams can no longer eat outside food together in the downstairs meeting room because there's a restaurant on site. Now you'd have to squeeze everyone into a room to feed them snacks or food you bring, or eat every meal at the hotel restaurant. It's very inconvenient, and the staff were rude when explaining the change. Teams, be aware.

The staff were amazing and the facilities were clean, but I'm disappointed that a deluxe room didn't include complimentary breakfast, which we weren't told until we arrived. We paid $250 for the room, and it wasn't anything special. Six other people in the little pub connected to the hotel said they'd had the same experience. For a big company to charge that much without the breakfast, especially when it says complimentary, is too much. This will be my last stay at any Four Points.

For our small anniversary getaway, the hotel and staff went out of their way to welcome and look after my wife and me. They kindly upgraded us to their best suite and surprised us with a cheesecake dessert. Thanks for making our special day even better!

The friendly welcome is what makes this my favourite place to stay in Grande Prairie, especially the wonderful service from Grace and Ally. The rooms are spacious, there's a pool and hot tub open early and late, and the restaurant on site is great too.

We really enjoyed our three nights here as a family. Breakfast had a nice mix of hot and cold food, and the lobby coffee machine was a great touch. The front desk offered good tips on local pizza spots and quickly brought us extra pillows. The kids loved the pool and hot tub, and there were towels ready each time we went.
