Fairfield Inn & Suites Gravenhurst Muskoka

We liked our Saturday stay enough to add a second night, and the hotel felt like good value. The facilities looked modern and well kept, and our room was clean and comfortable. On the second night, though, housekeeping didn’t match the first day’s standard. The bed hadn’t been made properly, so the room felt unfinished. I have celiac disease and Hashimoto’s, and usually bring my own food and toaster when I travel. Since celiac disease is internationally recognized, I think hotels could do more to provide safe gluten-free choices. Michelle in the breakfast area was wonderful and genuinely tried to help. She found gluten-free dairy-free oat milk as the only suitable option, and checked the ingredients in the eggs, bacon, and other items. She honestly advised me not to eat them because shared serving utensils meant cross-contamination couldn’t be ruled out. I appreciated her care and honesty. She was consistently helpful to us and other guests, and her service left a great impression. We had a pleasant stay and would consider coming back, especially for the friendly staff and quality of the hotel.

Mansubha at the front desk made our family feel comfortable with how genuinely she engaged with guests. Michelle was just as memorable at breakfast, going well beyond what we expected to make sure everyone had what they needed. My boys noticed how attentive and friendly she was. The staff’s kindness made the weekend especially memorable for me, my wife, and our three boys. Our rooms were spacious and very clean. I’d suggest having an electrician move the smoke alarms, especially the one in room 409, to the very entrance, away from the beds. Its green light flashed quite brightly in the dark. I enjoyed the gym, and the kids loved the pool, which is great for learning to swim since the deep end is only 4 feet. Breakfast was great too. I’ll stay here again on my next visit and recommend it to others coming this way. Kodjoe.

The hotel was spotless and smelled amazing. There was a fabulous breakfast selection with something for everyone, and Michelle was so pleasant, checking that we had what we needed. I’d definitely stay again.

I spent a few weekends here and had a great time. Everything was very clean, and both the service and staff’s helpfulness were excellent. Anil, Abid, and Aman were especially friendly and made the stay even better. I’d definitely recommend the hotel.
