Travel Inn

The furniture is dated but really cool and in great shape. I think it gives the place character. The guy at the counter was great, the bathrooms were clean, and the showers were nice and hot. Comfortable bed with a clean, new-looking mattress, and it was quiet. Checking in after hours was easy. No complaints, just a decent motel. Thanks!

I felt nervous about my vehicle because the place seemed sketchy, like it was right in the heart of crack town. They wanted to charge $10 for a ground-floor room. The ice machine didn't work, and when I went to the lobby, all they could give me was a little Ziploc bag of ice. The toilet never flushed.

The staff were very friendly and made us feel welcome, and the room and bathroom were clean. But the parking lot needs repairs and isn't really motorcycle friendly. One bed was extremely hard and the other very soft, and neither was comfortable. The Wi-Fi kept cutting in and out. We're not sure we'd stay again, even though the beds were clean.

After a 15-hour drive, I needed somewhere to stay while traveling alone and unfamiliar with the area. An older gentleman greeted me warmly at the desk, and we quickly got along. I learned the place is pet-friendly, which is good to know for a future trip since I have a dog, though I didn't bring her this time. I was so tired I left the office without my room key. When I came back around, the clerk was patiently waiting by the front door to hand it to me. Later, when the key wouldn't work, they fixed that promptly too. I paid by debit and didn't need to leave a deposit. The room had a mini fridge, microwave, coffee pot, safe, and complimentary bottles of water. For anyone with pets, this place is a treasure. I'll definitely stay again. Thanks, Travel Inn :)
