The restaurant was really good, and the service there was top notch. The whole place feels like a well-run small family business, with pleasant staff and really nice service. Our room was cute, comfortable, spacious, and well equipped, and parking right by the door was convenient. The lake backdrop is incredible. There are canoes and kayaks too, which was awesome. The outdoor and patio furniture could use an update. It’s also very close to Cardiff and Bancroft. They do a few little things that add a lot of value, but I’ll leave those as a surprise. 5/5 experience.

The lakefront view of Paudash Lake was beautiful, and the cabin had updated, modern furnishings. Having our own private cabin made the stay even better. Brayden and Mike were so supportive and responsive when bad weather and a rescheduled celebration of life meant I needed to rebook. They went above and beyond to help during an already difficult time. I highly recommend Somerset Lodge for the cabin’s comfort, the lake view, and the staff’s kindness.

Breakfast at the restaurant was the best, with an amazing view over the lake. We loved our cabin and the dock, and enjoyed the nightly bonfire. We also made use of the kayaks on site.

We rode in and out on freshly groomed trails, crossing Paudash Lake by snowmobile. Mike took our reservation, and we had supper and breakfast in the dining room. The room was beautiful and had a jacuzzi tub, though we didn’t use it. Breakfast was everything you could want, and supper came with some of the best French fries ever. We’ll go back again.

The lake view is beautiful, and the restaurant food is great. The staff are amazing too. I love this place and can’t wait to stay again next time I’m in the area. It’s my top choice.
