I got there a little before check-in, but nobody was in the office. I called the number on the door, and he explained he'd had an emergency to attend to and would be back as soon as possible. He sent someone else over with my room keys. When the manager returned, he brought me six Tim hortons doughnuts to make up for the wait and helped me connect to the Wi-Fi in my room. Great service.

I was concerned because this motel only has two stars, but it turned out to be a really pleasant surprise. The gentleman at the front desk was very friendly and helpful with information. My room was immaculately clean, and the price was quite reasonable compared with the other places in the area.

For the price and location, I could overlook the limited housekeeping and the beds not being made. The towels were cheap, barely absorbent, and there weren't many of them. The room itself was really comfortable, more like a little apartment, with two separate bedrooms, a living room, and a dinette. We stayed two nights.

Big thanks to Maharshi at the front desk, he was upbeat and kind. It's a two-star hotel, sure, but the stay was comfortable, clean, and safe. We had a great time.

At Pines Motel, the staff were super friendly and ready to help, with special thanks to Maharishi Bhai for the great accommodation. The rooms were clean, well kept, and had the essentials. It was a peaceful, comfortable stay at a budget-friendly price, with a convenient spot near attractions and restaurants. Highly recommended for travellers looking for an affordable place.
