Surfside Inn

We loved unwinding by the fireplace for a couple of hours, flipping through vintage magazines. The cheeseboard was delicious, and the three-course dinner was beautifully prepared, every bite a delight. We also took a peaceful walk along Queensland Beach and enjoyed the fresh sea air and scenery. Honeymoon Suite had a stunning ocean view, and the cozy atmosphere made our stay at charming Sureside Inn a lovely romantic retreat. We felt welcome and at ease from the moment we arrived. We can’t wait to return.

The staff were attentive and gave us the beautiful, secluded space we wanted for our family reunion at the Surfside Inn. The food was delicious. I had the stuffed chicken breast, the most tender I’ve ever had, and the cheesy baked potatoes were excellent too. We’re all planning to come back.

Our room felt a little cramped and small, though the decor throughout was lovely and historic. There’s a pretty outdoor seating area, and the inn is in a great spot across from a small beach. The continental breakfast didn’t impress us. We heard dinner was great, but you have to order a few days ahead.

It’s a quaint little seaside inn, the sort you’d expect to see in a movie. The staff went out of their way to make us comfortable, and our room was clean, including the bedding, towels, and amenities. We loved falling asleep with the window open and waves crashing on the beach. It’s only a two-minute walk down to the beach. There was a water quality warning, so we didn’t swim, but walking along the shore was great.
