We had a wonderful stay at Moonstone Manor Bed & Breakfast. The hosts were warm and welcoming, and gave us useful ideas for things to do nearby. The property itself is beautiful, peaceful, and well cared for. Our room was clean, comfortable, and decorated with thought, so it felt cozy and relaxing. Breakfast was delicious each morning and clearly made with care. The Wi-Fi was a little spotty, which is why I’m giving four stars instead of five. Even so, it was a lovely experience and we’d definitely consider returning.

The breakfast was way better than I expected, and there’s a very sweet dog too. I was only there for one night, but the place is fabulous. The house is absolutely beautiful, with an amazing finished basement that has a pool table and air hockey. Highly recommend.

Susie and Mark, thanks for such a great stay. We’ll come back whenever we’re in town for a concert. I can’t believe how much value we got for the price. My sister and I booked the inn for Sum 41 at the Canadian Tire Centre. It was easy to find, and the place looked beautiful as soon as we drove in. Susie, her husband, and their two adorable dogs greeted us. Susie was so welcoming and kind the whole time. It felt like staying at Aunt Susie’s house! Our room was cozy, cleaner than any hotel room I’ve stayed in, and I slept amazingly well. The location worked perfectly, just a 6-minute drive to the Canadian Tire Centre and 10 minutes to restaurants. For breakfast, Susie asked what we wanted, and we asked for simple bagels and fruit. She served fresh local bagels and fruit salad, plus complimentary snacks that I got into after the concert. We had lots of laughs at breakfast. Susie is very funny. Free parking was a bonus, and Susie even shared a tip for getting free parking at the concert. There’s also a spacious, cozy basement room with board games, and a British shorthair cat, which is a huge selling point in my opinion.

I booked a High Tea for 15 lady friends to celebrate my birthday. The owner assured me it wouldn’t be a problem and that she was a pro at events, but the food was disappointing. The soup was delicious, while the sandwiches were stale and dry and the desserts were dry and tasteless. The white wine wasn’t chilled, either. At $66 per person, I could have gone to The Old Mill Manor for $45, with fresh food and chilled wine. I wouldn’t recommend this venue for a special event. Susie, you disappointed me and my guests.

The dogs gave us lovely puppy cuddles, too ❤️ Susie and Mark were extremely accommodating and understanding about the situation my partner and I were in. The b&b really feels like home, and it’s conveniently located near lots of grocery stores, takeout places, and activities. It’s a 10/10 recommendation for a vacation, a move, or anyone wanting somewhere more personal than a hotel, away from the noise and city fuss. We had an absolutely amazing stay.
