The rooms were comfortable and well equipped, and the place was clean, quiet, and private. Self-check-in and check-out made arrival and departure easy and flexible. Its location is superb for exploring on foot, within walking distance of both the US Embassy and Parliament, and nearby vegetarian restaurants were a nice plus. Street parking is available for those with vehicles, and it's free on weekends, though it's advisable to confirm before visiting. There is public parking nearby as another option. We had a comfortable, hassle-free stay, and the Airbnb's location was a real advantage.

I was let down by the lack of communication from the host and the room's cleanliness. When I arrived, there was an unpleasant smell from the bathroom. I contacted the host right away, but never got a reply about the issue during my stay. I did receive generic messages, but they didn't address what I'd written. This could have been easily avoided and was a huge turn off. The house itself is beautiful, with a unique look, and it's ideally located for walking to Byward Market or getting to other parts of Ottawa. The Airbnb app's reviews, including the price and ratings, looked compelling. I left a review when prompted, then later learned hosts can choose whether to post reviews, so negative ones may be left off their profile. Something to think about next time when choosing an Airbnb :)

I booked a private room with its own bathroom through AirBnB. Check-in and check-out were efficient, and the room was clean, so I have no complaints overall. The two things I'd change are adding outlets beside the bed for charging a phone and making the lip of the top stair feel safer. Otherwise, neither issue would put me off booking with them again.

We had a beautiful, very clean room with everything we needed, including parking, wi-fi, and a private bathroom. The owner sent clear instructions for getting into the place, though we didn't meet her in person. Downtown was within walking distance. Highly recommended!
