Mount Robson Inn

The service was terrible, and the rooms were below par. Our room smelled bad, as if the previous guest had smoked in it. We told the front desk, but they shrugged it off, and nobody came to clean. It was a bad experience overall. The one bright spot was breakfast, where the staff were nice. We checked out after one night and moved to a different hotel.

The staff were very friendly, and the breakfast was tasty. We stayed two nights and loved how huge the room was. We chose a king bed and an in-suite jet tub, which was perfect after hiking and worked great. The shower was the one letdown: there was black buildup in a corner, and the showerhead leaked. Still, the hotel was amazing, right off Main Street, and the price for the room was incredibly affordable. We’d definitely stay again and have already recommended it to friends and family.

The mountain views from the two hot tubs were such a treat, and having laundry on site was handy since we were traveling for two weeks. We stayed four nights. At first we had a very small room, but after we spoke with Irene, the front desk manager, she moved us to a much nicer one with a fireplace and a little sitting area. We were very happy there. The upscale continental breakfast was great, and restaurants and shops were an easy walk away.

The only real difficulty for me was getting my luggage up and down the four steps, since I have a bad back. I noticed a ramp at the next building, so you could ask for a room there if stairs are a problem. Otherwise, I found the Mt Robson inn very comfortable during my two nights in early October 2023. The bed and pillows were great, and the shower was beautiful. Breakfast had just about everything, and the staff were warm and helpful. They even texted to check how things were going and whether I needed anything. There’s a conveniently placed laundromat, two hot tubs I didn’t get to try but that looked inviting for colder weather, and fruit infused water, regular and decaf coffee, and afternoon cookies in the lobby.
