The outdoor area is beautiful, and the service is what really makes this place feel five-star. When I call, I reach actual people, often the same employees, and they make a real effort to help with a good attitude and meet my needs. It’s affordable, too. The building feels a little old, with just one dated elevator and stairs that aren’t easy to find, but those are the only snags.

Christophe, the front desk manager, made sure I had a great stay. He was welcoming, friendly, and very professional. The location was perfect and the service outstanding during my weekend visit. My room felt a bit dated, and the rate seemed steep for a place as small as Joliette, but the customer service was incredible.

2/10
The rooms, service, and location are almost perfect, but the heater and A/C sound like a big tractor. It was so noisy that sleeping was difficult, even with earplugs. And $28 with tip is far too much for that breakfast. Any truck stop has the same kind, and there’s nothing better about it at this hotel. Shame on you for serving that breakfast!

The restaurant stood out for its delicious food and great service. Hôtel Château Joliette also has a welcoming feel from the moment you arrive, and the staff are both friendly and professional. It’s a gem!

8/10
The restaurant has a nice atmosphere and a great view of the river, and the salmon tartare is amazing. The food is great, while the rooms are okay and the bed is comfortable. There’s a lot of light in the morning, though, so make sure the blinds are closed properly.
