The biggest concern was that someone knocked at our door around 12:20 a.m., then tried to open it a few minutes later. It left us feeling unsafe. There was also loud noise from neighboring rooms until about 3:00 a.m. We needed to leave urgently for the hospital, but nobody was at the front desk to help. When a staff member arrived and we explained the situation, she showed no urgency and came across as rude. Service was disappointing. The linens had visible stains, the beds were uncomfortable, and the lighting was so poor that the room felt unclean. I wouldn’t stay here again. It was a very negative experience for cleanliness, safety, and service.

Mavka, the owner, was delightful to talk with. He was courteous and helpful when my travel was canceled because of conditions, and I needed a room that evening while waiting for a 5:45 am ride. He got me booked and even offered to drive me at 5 am. My room, 116, was fine, with no issues for me. The TV had all the good stations, including hockey, AMC, and news. The shower was clean, and although the towels were dated, they were clean too. The place was very dated, but it gave me somewhere to rest for a few hours before the early departure. My cancellation had been a pain, but the stay was positive. I know bad places, though I can’t speak for others’ reviews.

Cutting the power to a senior’s room, which she rents by the month, because her oxygen machine is “using too much power” is disgraceful. You should be ashamed of yourselves!

At 1:00 am, I arrived to find the sliding door open, letting in freezing air. There was no heat, and it was the coldest room I’ve ever slept in. I had to keep all my clothes and even my shoes on to stay warm. Unbelievable, a zero. Don’t stay here! 👎👎👎

I woke up covered in what I believe were bed bug bites, and they’ve turned into hives. The place was filthy, and there was someone’s hair in the bed. The fridge didn’t work either. This place shouldn’t be renting rooms, it’s a health and safety issue.
