Super 8 by Wyndham Kingston

The breakfast was well organized, with food replenished often, and I enjoyed it. Staff were very friendly and the beds were comfortable. We heard people walking above us now and then, but it was fairly quiet. On the lower level, the bathroom pipes made the louder noise. The room was very clean, but there was a strong perfume or deodorizer smell that lasted the whole visit. They said there were no plugins or deodorizers, and denied having air fresheners, but I could definitely smell one. As someone sensitive to scents, it made me uncomfortable.

Nandit was on the desk when I arrived around 11 last night after an issue at my previous hotel. He had me checked into a room in under five minutes, and the whole check-in was quick, polite, and seamless. The room was a great deal, with heavy blankets, an ironing board that came in handy after an eight-hour drive, soft bedside lights, and even a kitchenette with an electric burner and soft-close drawers. It's about a five-minute drive from downtown Kingston, and the price was reasonable. 10/10, I'd stay again, whether overnight, for a few days, or just passing through. If you came from the Confederation Place review, you've found the better Hotel.

Nandith was especially helpful with our reservations, and her warm, attentive service made the visit feel special. We found the rooms spotless and very comfortable, just what we needed to unwind after a long day. The location gives easy access to local attractions and amenities, and complimentary breakfast and Wi-Fi were great perks.
