The shared common room has things like a microwave and fridge, while the bedrooms themselves don’t. There’s no AC, but each room has an electric fan, and with the windows open overnight we didn’t get much outside noise. The beds are comfortable and everything was very clean. The owners are friendly and patient, and know enough English to communicate with guests who only speak a little French. The main downside is the creaky floor and squeaky beds. Even so, it’s quiet enough to sleep at night.

A friendly, pleasant B&B and a great choice for staying in La Malbaie. The hostess was very helpful and accommodating, and it’s very convenient to town.

The owner was incredibly sweet and courteous, and the service was the best ever. Absolutely wonderful, nothing to complain about.

My daughter and I spent six days at Petite Plaisance in autumn 2021 and loved our getaway. It was peaceful, clean, and discreet, and I’d be happy to repeat the experience. Thank you for being so hospitable. I hope to return.

The room was very clean, the staff courteous, and the service excellent. We also had the best continental breakfast we’ve ever had. The one drawback was how little soundproofing there was. We could hear everything, even when people were trying to be considerate.
