The area is nice, but I’d recommend staying in La Malbaie if you don’t want to drive every time you go out for dinner. The property is right by the road, so highway traffic noise is pretty constant. In the tower room, the tub and toilet were in the room, which was quite impractical. The bed was hard, and its springs were noisy.

The hosts are incredibly polite, friendly, and welcoming, and the breakfast was very good, with ham quiche and even a little dessert. It’s a nice little B&B run by a lovely couple, with a pleasant view of the river.

La Tourelle is a magical little two-story apartment, small and intimate. If you’re passing through La Malbaie and enjoy unique country cottages, I’d highly recommend this beautiful place. Breakfast is included and well worth it.

The breakfast was extraordinary, all homemade from the jams to the cakes. The room was spacious and beautifully decorated, and the bed was extremely comfortable. Thanks for the warm welcome. We’d happily stay again if we come back.
