Motel Chez Nous

The room was freezing and the sheets were dirty. I couldn't sleep or even take a shower. I had to force them to do their job. No respect for guests, and customer service was zero. Horrible experience. I really dislike this place and wouldn't recommend it even to my worst enemy.

The room was spacious and comfortable, and I liked being able to park right in front of it. We could leave and come back whenever we wanted, even late at night, and everything felt safe and easy. The location was excellent, too. The woman at reception, who I think is the owner, was very kind and always ready to answer my questions. I really enjoyed the warm atmosphere and my stay here. I'd recommend this motel.

This is the first time I've ever written a bad review. At 6am I got spam calls, then at 6:30 an Asian guy barged into my room while I was asleep. He said the receptionist had made a mistake the night before and charged me less than he should have, even though I'd told them I was staying the night. He kicked me out on the spot and told me never to come back over his employee's mistake. I'd booked and stayed expecting to check out at 11am. Instead I got less rest and was thrown out mid-sleep at 6:30 for something that had nothing to do with me. Please, nobody come here.

The outside doesn't look very good, but the rooms have been freshly renovated. For the price, it was totally worth it. The one snag was the security deposit: they require cash or debit, and I usually only carry credit. Luckily, my wife had her debit card with her, so it all worked out. Don't judge it by the outside.
