I also think the cancellation rule is ridiculous: it takes two weeks’ notice to cancel a room, while most hotels require 48 hours or less. The rest of the staff were pleasant, but on our second morning the older woman at breakfast was abrupt and rude. She seemed not to notice I was there with my boys, and hurried away when I came into view. A polite word to customers goes a long way. Our first morning was disrupted too. Before 6am, the smoke detector started beeping every 30 seconds, apparently because its batteries were low and hadn’t been replaced regularly. We’d planned to sleep much later that day because of our sports schedule.

The breakfast was fantastic, and the staff were wonderful. We spent the weekend here with my son's hockey team. The rooms were clean, the beds were comfortable, and the price was good value. I was also pleasantly surprised by the little touches in the lobby, like the coffee machine and water fill station.

I stay here often when work brings me to town. Breakfast is decent and has more options than some other places. The staff are friendly, and the rooms are clean. I usually have trouble sleeping in hotels, but the beds here are comfortable.

The gluten-free breakfast choices were a pleasant surprise. I often miss out on hot breakfast because I’m gluten free, but there was a wide variety of options and the staff knew what they were talking about. Everyone was welcoming and kind, and the hotel was extremely clean and in excellent shape. I highly recommend it!
