Parkway Motel

There are lots of restaurants nearby, plus a plaza with a Walmart. The rooms are small but clean. The area isn’t the best, and this definitely isn’t a high-end hotel or motel.

Just awful. I arrived at 10 pm, and the lady quoted me one price before changing it to $130. She didn’t care that I was crying when I got there. The blanket had burn holes, and the heat didn’t work, so I froze all night. Terrible motel, don’t stay here.

We sat in their gazebo for about 15 minutes before a whole family came out and shooed us away unless we were paying guests. We’d intended to stay here, since it’s very close to where we’re staying for a business course this week. The customer service was very rude. They quoted us $120 a night, although their website says $110. As we left the premises like they asked, I even put our garbage away, but a worker came out and told me I couldn’t put it in their garbage can.

We were there for two nights in late September, and the room wasn’t habitable. There was no heat because, we were told, the boiler wasn’t working, and there was no hot water either. The morning after our first night, we told the office. They said the boiler would be fixed within three hours, so we stayed. The manager brought us a heater, but I still had to run the water for 20 minutes before it was hot enough for a shower, which I needed before going to our granddaughter’s wedding. There weren’t enough places to plug in our devices, so we bought a couple of power bars. The Google ads weren’t accurate. We’ll never go back.
