The front desk people were super kind, sweet, and pleasant. The room itself was dated, though, and even though it’s non-smoking now, there’s a strong smell left from the last 40 years. We booked a double room, found stains on one sheet, and made one clean bed out of the two. Breakfast was advertised, but has been shut down since covid, and the price was higher than advertised.

The beds are super comfortable, and there’s a smart TV for Netflix or YouTube. Just remember to sign out afterward! You can hear some highway noise at this motel right off the road, but it’s minimal, so there’s not much to complain about.

In this tough economy, the price could be lower. It feels like big-city pricing in a place that isn’t a big city and doesn’t have big-city jobs. The manager is way too nosy and intrusive, and seems greedy. She agrees to something, then changes it without warning and says she never agreed to the original deal.

I don’t think they clean the rooms between every guest. We found lots of hair that wasn’t ours and clipped nails under the drawer, and the service was very poor for what we paid. The little room separating the beds had no windows and felt like a jail cell. The heater in that small room couldn’t even be turned off. We’ve stayed in plenty of other motels, so we can definitely compare.
