Homewood Suites by Hilton Montreal Midtown, Quebec, Canada

I stayed 10 nights. The hotel and rooms were clean and modern, the beds comfortable, and the towels soft. Staff were pleasant and quick to send replacements when things in the room were broken. The kitchen was nowhere near equipped for a long stay. I had to add items myself, and the knife couldn't cut a mushroom. There wasn't even a spatula. It's a very limited setup, more suitable for guys ordering pizza. Luckily Walmart is across the highway.

The flat we picked had a handy kitchen, and the location and surroundings felt cozy. The faucet in the restroom badly needs improvement. It's hard to get warm water for washing your hands: you get either really hot or cold water. Even at the middle setting, it can suddenly turn incredibly hot, and we nearly burned our hands. Check-in also takes a while. For the price, it wasn't one of the best hotels we've stayed at, so I'm giving it three stars.

Homewood Suites by Hilton Montreal Midtown was quiet and comfortable, with spacious, modern, very clean rooms and a well-equipped kitchenette that made traveling with family easier. Staff were friendly and helpful, breakfast was decent and convenient, and the location worked well for getting around Montreal. I'd definitely stay again.

Clean room and a comfortable bed. There was a faint, odd smell, though, and I noticed it every time I walked into the room.
