Josh and his mom made us feel so welcome. We were delighted by the beautiful place and its surroundings, and it’s just a 25-minute drive to Waterton park. This is a true gem in southern Alberta. We stayed for two nights. Thank you so much for your hospitality!

I booked Rocky Ridge Country Lodge Waterton through Booking.com in December 2025 for July 26-27, 2026. In April 2026, the accommodation sent me a message canceling the reservation without consulting me. They said they could book another accommodation for me if I wanted, so I asked them to do that. As of June 1, 2026, I still haven’t heard from them.

Josh and his mom were so warm and made us feel right at home. The peaceful lodge had a full kitchen with all the utensils we needed to cook our own meals, plus lovely shared spaces with a pool table, TV, and backyard deck. Breakfast options were a nice touch. Just so you know, the hot tub was closed during our visit. We had a wonderful stay at Rocky Ridge Country Lodge in Waterton, and highly recommend it for a cozy, home-like vibe.

Josh’s breakfasts were the highlight. The food was amazing, and for everything you get, the price is very reasonable. We’ll definitely come back, and I’d recommend it to anyone, especially couples. The house is huge and well-kept, with flowers everywhere, lots of outdoor seating, a firepit, and a hottub. Inside, it’s gorgeous and rustic, with a living room, pool table, and kitchen area. Check-in was simple, and everything was very clean. We stayed in the Emerald room, which shares a bathroom with two other rooms. I usually don’t like shared bathrooms, but Josh has given each room its own hand towel, soap dish, and bath mat, and the bathroom was cleaner than many private hotel bathrooms. The bed was really comfortable, the sheets were nice, and the air conditioning worked well. There’s also a binder in the room with all the information you’d need. Getting to Waterton was an easy drive. We LOVED this stay. The location and the property are beautiful!

The hosts and their kids were super friendly, breakfast was absolutely delicious, and the place was quiet, peaceful, clean, and comfortable. You can feel the love and attention to detail throughout. Josh even helped with my car trouble, and we made it home fine without any warning lights coming on again. Thank you so much, Josh and family, for everything. I’d give this place more than five stars if I could, and can’t wait to stay again.
