The room could use a little attention, but the staff made the stay feel welcoming. The man who checked me in was cute and handsome, and he patiently answered all my questions and explained what was around the area. Check-in was quick and easy thanks to him. I wish I’d gotten his name. The location is great, and I’d stay here again if I’m back. The friendly service made the room’s small flaws matter less.

The staff were friendly and I had no problem with them, but the hotel itself needs to be bulldozed and rebuilt. My room was filthy, there was blood on the sheets, broken mirrors and exposed electrical wiring in the bathroom. The place was noisy late at night, with drug users and escorts around the hotel, and I saw people doing drugs throughout the property. I was only there briefly; otherwise I would have left, but they don’t refund you after payment. The breakfast was so poor it barely deserves a mention. It’s a shame Windham lets its name be associated with this, and that Expedia lists it. The location is good, but at the same price the Days Inn is a million times nicer. My advice is to stay away.

Getting to the Falls was easy since they’re only minutes away, and after a day out the in-room jacuzzi was great for relaxing. My wife and I found the room clean, well kept and attractive. It was more spacious than we expected, with plenty of towels. We had a comfortable, enjoyable stay at Super 8 by Wyndham during our Niagara Falls trip. For a budget-friendly place with solid amenities and a convenient location, it worked well for us.

The location made it easy to walk to Greg Frewin Theatre, Clifton Hill and lots of restaurants. Fallsview Casino and Skylon Tower were about a 20-minute walk away. Check-in and checkout were simple, and there was plenty of parking for 10 CDN. The room was cozy and seemed to have been renovated in the last few years. Breakfast was basic but good: waffles, croissants, toast, muffins, juice, bananas, yogurt and hard-boiled eggs. The pool was a bit too cool for me, so I skipped swimming. I didn’t use the fridge or microwave, but it was nice to have them; with better weather, I’d have used the balcony more. I’d consider staying again.
