I was out all day each day over the weekend, and this cozy place worked well for my solo trip. The loft apartment was easy to find, and parking was right beside my door. It had enough space lengthwise, though one side of the ceiling sloped, just as the photos showed. The bed was clean and comfortable, and the hot water had good pressure. The kitchenette was handy, with a small bar fridge for my lunches and ice packs, plus a microwave that worked well. There was also a small percolator, though I couldn't find sugar or creamer. The AC unit had no outside vent installed, but I didn't need it. One TV was fine, although it was only in the bedroom, where there weren't any chairs. Check-in and checkout were straightforward, but the door lock sometimes didn't open after the code even though it sounded as if it had. Checkout instructions said to take out the garbage but didn't say where, so I hoped there'd be a bin out back. These were minor things, and there weren't any major issues. The place is a bit dated, but clean and comfortable, and the host was friendly and responsive.

The hosts were lovely, and breakfast was great. We had the super clean, cozy Two Bedroom Unit with Jacuzzi upstairs, and the jacuzzi was a nice extra. We'll definitely be back!

Sarah and Alan treated us like family from the moment we arrived. They even went out of their way to make our wedding anniversary special, and were there whenever we needed help. The rooms were beautiful and immaculate. My wife is very particular about cleanliness and kept telling me how thorough the cleaning was. Breakfast was delicious, nicely presented, and there was plenty for us, even though we eat a lot. Acacia B&B is close enough to walk to the Falls, Clifton Hill attractions, the casino, waterpark, shops, and restaurants. We didn't need a car, though there was ample parking if you do. We highly recommend Acacia Bed and Breakfast and will return when we're in Niagara Falls. If you want a quiet, relaxing place with upscale amenities and great hosts, within walking distance of the Falls and Clifton Hill, this is a great fit.

Gordon made time to tell us about the region over breakfast and offered ideas for making the most of our time there. We also had a lovely meal of crepes and an Asian omelet from Chaesun. After days out, it was nice to sit with a glass of wine on the newly renovated deck, and my wife really enjoyed the very clean jacuzzi. On our last evening we ate at the Old Winery, where a jazz band was playing, then watched fireworks from our bedroom window. During our first stay at Acacia Bed and Breakfast, the service and accommodations were superb. The house is just a few steps from the Falls and main tourist area. We were there on a long weekend with perfect weather for the Maid of the Mist, Niagara-on-the-Lake, the Falls, and lots of walking. It was a perfect three-day getaway from our usual hotel stays. The hosts really go out of their way for guests. We'll tell our friends and come back soon.
