Great Wolf Lodge Niagara Falls

There was plenty for all of us to do, and the family-friendly atmosphere made the trip feel special. The water park was fantastic, the food was really good, and the staff were friendly. Everything seemed well organized. We had an amazing stay at Great Wolf Lodge Niagara Falls, and we're already planning to come back next year. Highly recommend it for a fun, memorable getaway.

There's so much for kids here: bowling, laser tag, mini-golf, shows in the main lobby, MagiQuest, and of course the indoor water park. This was our fourth visit, so clearly they're doing something right for us to keep paying the big bucks. There's not much to criticize, but it really is expensive. For two nights we paid over CAD 1,000, and I still wince thinking about it. The place is packed, so they've found a price people will pay. A few things were frustrating: luggage carts are hard to find at peak times, and MagiQuest has finicky sensors and feels overpriced on top of the room cost. The signs ask you not to use the elevator for MagiQuest, but the stairs hurt my bad joints, so I used it anyway while leading the kids. For what we paid, not having ice machines on every floor is unacceptable, there aren't enough accessible parking spots, and the main pool should stay open longer. We'll return, but probably not for a few years because of the cost.

The meal plan worked well overall, especially breakfast and dinner. Lunch didn't seem like the healthiest choice for our family, so we skipped it. Our kids loved the water park and had fun there every day, and they enjoyed all the entertainment and activities too. Everyone was friendly and welcoming, and the service was excellent. We had a wonderful long weekend at Great Wolf Lodge Niagara Falls as a family of four, and we'll definitely come back.

Our kids are 10, so it was nice that they could be fairly independent, and the daily event schedule was fun. The waterpark was clean, had lots to do, and was enjoyable for both children and parents. We also liked the meal package for one day. The buffets were pretty good, with a great variety, and staff were friendly. As parents paying for everything, we appreciated that upgrades, souvenirs, and food were reasonably priced. The bed felt pretty hard to me, and our wristbands didn't always open the doors. Still, we had a great time on our first GWL visit, and we'd love to return someday.
