The location felt safe for walking to and from the falls, even at night. It's about a mile away, and there's a bus stop a block from the house if you buy a day pass. Private parking was handy too. Inside, the living and family rooms looked nice, and the old antique wood has a cool feel, though every footstep makes the house creak. The lower floor smelled strongly of cigarette smoke. Our room was okay but scuffed, with a mini-fridge, microwave, kettle, TV, and a side table, but no chairs. The bed was a big box spring and was comfortable, and the linens were clean. There was technically AC, but it didn't reach the second-floor rooms, so the only ventilation was opening a door or window. Priceline had made the amenities sound much better than they were. We had a private balcony, but the neighbors were disruptive, smoking, revving engines, grinding metal, lighting fires, and screaming. The bathroom was grimy, with mold in the grout and a shower curtain glued to the ceiling, which seemed odd and unclean. A sign said not to flush tissue, which was either badly translated or pretty gross. Breakfast was disappointing: a lukewarm hot dog, three steamed broccoli pieces, fried egg, croissant, two cherry tomatoes, yogurt, and coffee or tea. My croissant had mold inside. The Keurig coffee and tea seemed to be available in the dining room all day. The outside was a bit grubby, especially along the back and sides, where there was debris, broken furniture, and dirt or rot on the panels. The hosts were friendly, but didn't speak English and used a phone to translate. Not a huge problem, just another communication barrier.

Room #3, White Orchid, was on the second floor and had a balcony, private bathroom, microwave, mini-fridge, and kettle. The room was very clean, with plenty of space to relax. I spent most of my time on the balcony, front porch, and in the living room. Coffee and water were always available, and the atmosphere was quiet. Free parking, too. The location worked really well. The WeGo bus stop (Bed & Breakfast) is nearby, I walked over the rainbow bridge to visit the US side, and the Go train station is a 10-minute walk away. The front door and each room use passwords. My host knew I might arrive late and was fine with it. She was kind and even prepared a birthday gift for my Mother's Day and birthday solo trip. Safe and convenient.

The hosts were so responsive and ready to help, even late at night, and their hospitality made the stay especially enjoyable. My husband and I found the place clean, comfortable, and welcoming. We had a wonderful visit and highly recommend staying here.

It's a charming Victorian-style house in a quiet, safe neighborhood. The room was peaceful, and I barely heard guests in the other rooms. The respectful host keeps everything very clean, and self check-in is easy with coded locks. There was plenty of parking in the backyard. It's walkable to the falls, though not super close. A pleasant stay and a great location for visiting Niagara Falls.
