Deanna and Alec were amazing hosts, and their B&B is beautifully decorated and exceptionally clean. My wife and I have traveled extensively for over 40 years, and this was one of our better stays away from home. Breakfast changed each day and came in three delicious courses, with fresh ingredients and homemade baked goods. They also gladly shared their expert knowledge of local attractions, winery's, and restaurants. We’ll definitely return.

Everything was carefully arranged down to the smallest details to bring out the Safari theme. I’d seen photos on Google maps and Expedia, but stepping inside was something else. We stayed over Easter weekend and Deanna greeted us warmly. The bed was comfortable, and there was a balcony for reading. We didn’t use the outdoor hot tub, but there was one inside the room, along with all the amenities for a great experience. We chose to have breakfast on our last day. It was delicious, with beautiful decor all around us and even a dragonfly on the napkin. The eggs Benedict was my favourite. We left feeling very grateful for the weekend getaway.

The rooms and grounds at Explorer House were exceptionally well kept, and the setting was quiet and relaxing. The hosts were wonderful and gave us useful information about what to see and do nearby. Breakfasts were fresh, tasty, and beautifully presented. We’re looking forward to returning to this beautiful area.

The breakfasts were three-course masterpieces, and we saved real money with the several local winery coupons the hosts offered us. There’s a jacuzzi tub in every room, plus common areas that are very well stocked and maintained. A spectacular B&B, definitely recommended.

Deanna and Alec were gracious hosts. They suggested things to do and places to eat, and shared stories from their own adventures. The home is beautiful, with thoughtful details that help guests feel comfortable. Breakfast was great, with enough variety to suit anyone. We had a lovely weekend at Explorer House and would recommend it to anyone visiting Niagara on the Lake.
