Historic Davy House Bed & Breakfast Inn

Flo and Jeff were top-notch proprietors when this wonderful B&B was open before closing in the early days of covid. It's since reopened under new ownership, but we haven't stayed there since the change. So I can't recommend a stay now, or discourage one either. I'll update this review after a future visit.

We got to choose among the three rooms since no one else was booked midweek just after New Year's. Our host was upbeat and energetic, and it was clear she really enjoys her work. After dinner, towels were set out for our hot tub visit. The room was cozy, and the electric fireplace made it toasty warm. Breakfast in the morning was stylish and delicious. We hadn't tried a bed and breakfast before, and Davy House was a great first experience. I'd tell others to give it a try.

The setting was gorgeous and peaceful, from the house and backyard to the location. We originally hoped to book two nights, but only one was available, so we took it. When we arrived, we asked if we could stay a second night too, but nobody had cancelled, haha. Jeff and Flo were wonderfully helpful and adorable hosts who worked hard to make each guest's stay enjoyable and memorable. We'd heard a lot about breakfast, and it met, even surpassed, those expectations. We're already planning to return and can't wait. Highly recommend.

We hardly left the beautiful Davy House, even though it's within walking distance of everything. Jeff and Flo have hospitality down, and this was the best B&B experience I've had despite staying at plenty of them. The hot tub was a particular highlight. It's the best B&B in Niagara on the Lake, and I can't praise it enough. Thank you, Jeff and Flo!
