Fairfield Inn & Suites by Marriott North Bay

We noted when booking that we were traveling with our 15-month-old baby. During our family stay, the baby picked up a loose tablet or pill in the room. Thankfully nothing happened, but it was a serious safety concern. Everything else about the stay was fine, and I hope the hotel improves its room checks, especially for guests with children.

I stayed on April 11 and had a wonderful stay, but later found an additional charge on my bill that I hadn't been told about. When I phoned the hotel to ask about it, the manager was hostile and hung up while we were discussing the issue. I called back to ask his name and he hung up again. That's why I'm leaving this review, and I hope head office addresses how unprofessional this was. His name is Parth Dholakia, General Manager, Fairfield By Marriott North Bay. He should not be in that position.

The breakfast was delicious, and even the individual grapes had been washed, with no film on them. I've never seen that at a hotel. From our easy check-in until we left, the service was impeccable and everything was spotless: the rooms, sheets, towels, every corner. There was no smell in the room and everything worked perfectly. We really enjoyed our stay in North Bay. Thanks to the hotel staff, cleaners, and team. I highly recommend it to anyone visiting North Bay.

I travel often for work and usually stay with the Bonvoy brand, so Fairfield North Bay was a pleasant surprise. The lobby decor and cleanliness impressed me as soon as I walked in. The property seems quite new, the staff were friendly, and the rooms were very clean. The waffle station was great, and having coffee available all day is a nice touch.
