Check-in was smooth and polite, and Boston Pizza is right next door. That was the main perk for me. The room itself wasn’t anything special, and the two-day-only option seemed odd. The walls and door in the bathroom needed washing. There were sticky handprints, and the mirrors still had gems stuck to them, presumably from previous guests. The sink is outside the toilet area, so you have to touch door handles before you can wash your hands. The wallpaper looked dingy and stained too. It seemed like only the obvious parts of the room had been wiped down, with dust left around. The heating unit kept clicking on and off loudly all night, which was annoying and disruptive.

The breakfast had a good mix of hot and cold options, and the staff were polite and professional. My room was clean, quiet and well equipped. The pool and jet spa area, though, was shabby and poorly maintained. They need to give that part of the property some attention.

There was plenty of seating and a great range of breakfast choices. The hotel felt clean and modern, and both the pool and hot tub were in good shape.

The staff are great, and breakfast was okay. The pool and hot tub were working and warmer this time, but they still looked dirty and need scrubbing or painting. I complained about that last year. I stay for the pool, but I won’t be back for it. There’s no handrail on the wet, sloping floor by the pool, and all the taps in the room drip. For this far north, it costs way too much.

I arrived later than planned because my afternoon events ran long, but check-in was quick and easy. The woman at the front desk was fantastic. I think her name was Susan. The rooms were gorgeous, clean and comfortable, definitely five-star. The pool and hot tub were clean as well. Top-notch service. I’ll absolutely stay at this location again!
