Condos Hôtel Lion D'or

The setting was lovely, and getting to restaurants and Magog was quick and easy. Inside, the modern decor and efficient appliances were good, with nice views from the windows and balconies. The AC worked well, there was lots of luggage storage, and the shower was excellent and up to date, though hot showers made the bathroom feel like a sauna. Some things made the stay less comfortable. The mattresses were very hard, and noise carried through the thin walls, floors and ceilings. Some channels listed on the low-quality TV weren't available. Room service wasn't included, a toaster was broken and there was no kettle. The pool was too dirty to use, though thankfully it was closed for that reason. I left with mixed feelings. The surroundings are very nice, but the smaller discomforts added up. I'd recommend it for a short stay, but for longer visits I'd choose a better hotel.

The pool area was pleasant, though there were too many bugs in the water. The room felt bare, with no headboard or nightstands, and its awkward layout made it uncomfortable and unwelcoming. Cleanliness also left a lot to be desired, with spiderwebs, for example. Before leaving, they ask you to wash the dishes and take out your trash, or they'll charge you. I don't recommend it.

We couldn't have asked for a better stay in a condo that was just right for two, fully equipped, and had a great view and patio. The location was ideal, with bike paths and hiking trails starting right at the doorstep. Service was excellent, and we really appreciated having the pool. I recommend it for two.

Condo #2 was comfortable, neatly organized, and had a clean bathroom and shower. We enjoyed our night there so much that I asked to extend our stay, but it was already booked. I'd definitely recommend it.
