Hugh and Stacy, the managers, really helped make our vacation great. Check-in was easy, there was lots of parking, and they accommodated our request for a ground-floor room. They also shared local events and restaurant recommendations. The rooms were clean and comfortable, and the beach felt very safe at any hour. Best beach in Osoyoos, in my opinion. Highly recommend this South Okanagan gem.

We picked Richter Pass Beach Resort for our first trip to Osoyoos, which lasted nine nights. Our lake and mountain view room was just as pictured and very clean. The resort was quiet, with no loud music, and the staff were friendly and helpful. We were really happy with our stay and plan to come back next season.

We only stayed one night with the family, and leaving the next day was the hard part. Everyone agreed it was the best place we stayed during our whole vacation. The private beachfront was amazing, and the rooms were roomy and comfortable. We all slept better here than anywhere else. I'd recommend staying more than one day if you can.

My room had already been assigned when I checked in, with my name and room number written on the key and registration. That seemed reassuring, but what I got was a view of the staircase and a basement-like area with storage items and a mouse trap, not the terrace or water view in the listing photos. The unit looked quite different from the booking site pictures, which was disappointing. I chose Richter Pass Beach Resort after it showed up as a deal while I was searching for a vacation stay. The price was around CAD $200 at the time, so I expected something more like the photos. The rate was still lower than many nearby hotels, and the little private beach was genuinely nice for relaxing by the water. If you book through Booking.com, don't assume the photos show the exact room you'll get. Some units do seem to have the terrace and lake view shown online, but you may need to ask specifically or upgrade. It works if you're after a budget-friendly stay with direct beach access. If you'd like to sit on a terrace with coffee or wine and look over the lake, confirm your room type before booking.
