I moved to Ottawa from Calgary and booked one of Adib's furnished apartment suites while I looked for a long-term lease. The suite wasn't clean when I arrived: there was food in the fridge, the linen was dirty, and the old bathroom had stains in the tub and cracks in the tiles. I called the manager, who apologized and sent cleaners, but I had to spend three hours out on the streets before the suite was ready. After finding a long-term place, I checked out and arranged for someone to take over my last two weeks so I wouldn't lose the whole month's rent, since my budget was very tight. Adib's assistant called to say someone else had checked in and that the remaining money would be refunded. A few days later I got an email saying I was being refunded only $160, instead of at least $700. I had paid $1,400 for the month and checked out on Sep 9th. When I asked about the rest, they told me they don't do refunds, something I had never been told. I wouldn't recommend them because the suite photos they show online aren't honest.
