The breakfast was the biggest disappointment: water, coffee, stale cereal, and white bread. They said they no longer had a waffle iron, even though their sign still mentioned it, which made me wonder how long the waffle mix had been there. I'd take breakfast out of the advertising. We chose this place partly because breakfast was included. The location was convenient in town, near several places to eat, and the area seemed nice enough. Parking was free and reserved, the place looked clean, and it was relatively cheap, though there are more affordable options closer to Toronto. The train ran loudly all night, the beds squeaked, and the TV had about six channels, maybe fewer.

At least they made an effort to clean the room, but it was terrible value for money. The room was barely heated, and the beds felt like plywood. The motel sits right beside the train tracks, and you could hear the trains; soundproofing was poor in general. Both doorknobs were so battered they felt ready to fall off in my hand. There was never anyone at reception, so I had to call the number on the cheap landline at the desk and wait about 10 minutes for someone to make their way over.

Clean, right in town, and one of the cheapest options around, so it's great value for the price. The mattress was extremely hard, but otherwise I had no complaints.

We stayed one night with two friends. The rooms were clean and well kept, and reception was kind. They gave us tea bags when we asked and explained how to enjoy the cruise trips. We'll be back soon with more friends.

The location is a big plus, convenient for getting to attractions in and around the perrysound. The room cleanliness and service were definitely 10/10, and the staff were very friendly and focused on customer satisfaction. Such a great place for a relaxing vacation.
