I've been staying here for almost a month and eat at the bar nearly every night. I watched a new waitress start, and just a week later she had the whole bar under control. She went from looking unsure to remembering your name and managing the room. She's the reason we come back.

The front desk staff were welcoming and friendly, and the hotel itself is nice, with a restaurant in the lobby. Still, I'll stay somewhere else next time. The WiFi was probably the worst I've had in two years, and I could hear the next room's guys talking normally. There's no continental breakfast, while breakfast at the restaurant is expensive. Housekeeping seemed to only make the bed and change towels, without doing other cleaning. The room coffee packets didn't compare with the coffee maker, and the lobby coffee bar can't serve more than three people before it needs a refill. It was a halfway decent experience, but nothing special.

At Chateau Nova, the coffee sat there getting old all night, then was served to the guys heading out early for work. If there's no continental breakfast, they could at least keep the coffee hot. Do better, my God.

The beds were so comfortable I truly didn't want to get up this morning. This was an absolutely beautiful place to stay, and I slept better than a very content baby. It's definitely in my top five places to stay when traveling.

After a long day at work, I had to lie in a bed with someone else's dried blood and fecal matter, then wash my hands in the nastiest sink ever. Is this Peace River or Sri Lanka?
