Shoreline Resort

The beach view from the parking lot was the best part. The parking lot itself was a nightmare, so bring a smart car or motorcycle. Inside, the bed squeaked so loudly I couldn't sleep. While I was tossing and turning, the solid wood headboard fell off the wall. I tried to put it back, but it was too heavy, and found a hole in the wall behind it with mouse poop below. In the morning I looked under the bathroom sink for a hair dryer and found a set mouse trap instead. There wasn't a hair dryer or a power outlet in the bathroom. I was booked for three nights and cancelled the rest first thing that morning. I would've slept better in my truck. They still charged the full $231.00 for the night, including a pet fee for my Chihuahua, even though it seems they have pets living there rent free.

We were all able to relax, and everyone loved the place. Our group included kids, older people, and friends, and the lakefront 3 bedroom condominium worked well for us. It was right in front of the beach and close to all the attractions. We were surprised by how clean and well arranged it was, with good beds, washrooms, and a kitchen. Stacey was helpful the whole time. We came from Vancouver with family friends and kids from Toronto, and we'll definitely come back. It felt like at least a 4 star hotel, not 2.

The location is unbeatable, and having a BBQ beside the pool was a great touch. The rooms were great for a 2-star motel, and the customer service was some of the best I've experienced. All around, a great stay. Thank you!
