The staff were lovely and helpful, and I'd come back after a great visit. My only small gripe was the regular room thermostat wasn't working properly, and the A/C did work but took a while to kick in after I adjusted it at the unit. They had posted notices about it, though that wasn't especially convenient. It's a small town, so there aren't many amenities within walking distance. The hotel does have some nice extras, like an outdoor fire pit and public barbecues. Continental breakfast is offered, as is fairly standard for brands like this.

The pool looked clean from the parking-lot window, though I didn't have time to use it. Breakfast was great, with a decent mix of hot and cold choices, and the coffee was the best I've had in a hotel. Overnight the halls were quiet, and there was no street noise. I arrived at night. My room and fridge were very clean, and the staff were helpful and personable. I'd highly recommend the Towne Place Suites by Marriott Petawawa. Honestly, I've never had a bad experience at any Marriott hotel.

We stayed one night after visiting Algonquin and got a suite upgrade, which was fabulous. Nice property overall.
