I’ve stayed here many times over the last two years without a problem, until my child and I checked in on May 10, 2026, around 9-10pm. We fell asleep quickly and got up fairly early, covered in bite marks on our legs, stomachs, arms, and back. There were countless marks, in straight rows, consistent with bed bug bites. I told the front desk while checking out and was asked to email management, which I did right away with photos. I got no reply saying they were looking into it. I followed up by email the next week and heard nothing, then called the week after that. They said the manager would call me back, but that never happened. A month has now passed without any communication. That feels very unprofessional, and it’s disgusting that they won’t address what seems to be a severe bed bug infestation. The number of bites on my child and me was overwhelming. I’m writing publicly in the hope they’ll take this seriously and try to resolve it. I waited a while before posting, and felt obligated to warn people for their health and safety since the hotel hasn’t responded to my emails or calls as directed. At least people can avoid room 554 on the fifth floor.

The frosted glass bathroom doors feel like an invasion of privacy. Who wants a glass door on a bathroom? There are also no ceiling vents or fans, so there’s no airflow and moisture can encourage mold. I’ve never seen a ventless bathroom in modern construction. At minimum, every bathroom should have a dehumidifier. Choices like these make me trust this establishment less. Do better.

I’ve been staying here for about a month, and the staff have been spectacular in my opinion. They respect my privacy, never judge, and are accommodating when I ask for things like replacement towels. The cleaning staff work so hard, and really all the staff put effort into making your stay satisfying. I especially love Pihu and Bhavya at reception, Dani from cleaning, and the two maintenance men. I could go on, but simply put, they’re AWESOME AND KIND!

Bhavya and Jaspreet at the front desk have made my stay amazing. I’ve been here a couple of days, and service has been quick. When I checked in, they helped me a lot and handled everything professionally. Whenever I’ve had a question or request, they’ve been attentive and genuinely caring, and made me feel welcome and valued. The front desk team are outstanding.

Sohrab made my stay at Ramada by Wyndham Edmonton South a great experience. He was polite, professional, and helpful the whole time, made check-in smooth, and was ready to help with questions or requests. His friendly service helped me feel comfortable, and I really appreciate the effort. I’d recommend the hotel because of staff like him.
