The townhouse was a fun, rustic two-bedroom with a loft, right by the ocean, and we had a great time there. The drive in made us nervous because the property looked run down, but the stay turned out really well. The kitchen could use a deep clean, which is why I held back a star. I’d come again, though if you’re after modern design and flawless finishes, this probably isn’t the place.

The sunsets and starry nights were amazing, and the ocean is right there with a lovely view toward Texada Island. The cabins and grounds were clean, with pretty landscaping, and Emma and the staff kept everything that way. Chelsea was new this year and fit in so naturally. Joan & Ron have made the resort feel distinctive. There’s a pool and a playground near the BBQ area, so kids can play while adults cook or chat. Each cabin has kitchen facilities, and continental breakfast is served in the office. We were about 15 minutes from Powell River, and the whole visit felt complete. I’d give this place 10 stars if I could.

We had a lovely stay in a larger cabin we were upgraded to. It had a fireplace and pretty much everything we needed. The spot by the sea is great, and Powell River is close by. Breakfast was simple, but good.

Myrtle Rocks were a highlight, with a fun walk out and plenty of sea life to watch. The cabins were excellent and the service was top notch. Such a beautiful waterfront spot. I’ll definitely be back.

We stumbled onto this place 9-10 years ago and have kept coming back every year. The oceanfront cabins are our favorite, and Emma always makes us feel welcome. The owners are wonderful too. There’s swimming, kayaking, hiking on the rock, and lots of exploring, with town just a short drive away. We plan our visits around the blackberry festival. The cabins are always clean, and the free breakfast is great. See you in August, we’ll be back again.
