I should’ve written this back in 2022. I’ve stayed at this B&B three times, and Joyce and Ted have been wonderful hosts every time. The house is lovely and quiet, in a nice residential neighborhood, and I much prefer it to a hotel. Everything’s clean, and Joyce makes a different homemade breakfast each visit, served when you need it. It’ll keep you going all day. I can’t say enough good things about the place.

The beds were very comfortable, and Joyce and Ted are kind, welcoming hosts. Breakfast was a delicious, enormous Irish meal. A sliding door separates their living area from the B&B side, which has two guest rooms, a bathroom, and a breakfast room. Their house is in a quiet neighborhood, with easy access to Moore’s Meadow Nature Park trails and the Nechako River at Wilson Park. The name ‘Grateful Bed’ comes from Ted’s music and concert memorabilia collection. We usually stay with family when we’re in town, but couldn’t this trip. We’re grateful to have found this lovely B&B.

Joyce and Ted were wonderful hosts. I had to leave early, so Joyce put my breakfast in the fridge for me, and I really enjoyed the long chats with Ted. He even got up at 6am to say goodbye. Finding somewhere to stay in Prince George can be tricky, and you’ll see hotel reviews mention shady people downtown. This B&B is in a very quiet residential area and easy to find, just look for the cutest house on the block. I had no concerns leaving my motorcycle parked on the street overnight.

I felt like part of the family at the Grateful Bed B &B. Mr. Ted and Mrs. Joyce were aaa'maaaazing and went above and beyond to make my stay special. I absolutely fell in love with the place.
