Ramada Plaza by Wyndham Prince George

I've stayed a couple of times, and liked each visit more than the last. The place is always bright and clean, day or night, and the walls are so soundproof it feels like you're the only one on the floor. The staff are friendly and eager to please.

The immediate area has a lot of homelessness and open drug use. The room we got was filthy, as shown in the photos with descriptions, and the furniture was falling apart. At checkout the next morning, the manager took $60 off, though in my opinion the stay should have been comped. We had booked directly with someone at the hotel by phone and confirmed the specific room twice, but got a different one on arrival. They said their system showed a third-party booking, which absolutely wasn't true, and claimed nothing could be done. Also, you aren't told when booking that you'll need to pay a $150-$300 deposit, even though they hold your credit card for payment. This was our second bad experience. The previous time there were check-in problems, the wrong room, a dirty room, and a broken jacuzzi. We won't stay here again. Horrible hotel, and if I could give zero stars, I would.

Our floor stayed fairly quiet even though the hotel was very busy. The room was exceptionally clean and well equipped, and I was surprised and pleased to find fresh towels and a tidied room on the second day. That felt luxurious. Some hallway carpet is buckling, though, and could trip someone.

The hot tub wasn't working, and breakfast on the second morning was awful. The hollandaise was a lump, the butter on the toast stayed hard instead of melting, and there were loads of potatoes. We booked two rooms, including a suite, for three nights from September 26 to September 29, 2025. Our room wasn't serviced once. I spoke to the front desk and said a partial clean would be fine, but nothing was cleaned. They only left two towels in the bathroom, with no wipe down, vacuuming, or garbage pickup. Very disappointing.
