The bathroom had a nice setup, but the Gillette blade in the cupboard had already been used, so we avoided using anything else in there. Luckily, we’d brought plenty of shampoo and other supplies. We stayed in the downstairs bedroom, which was clean and organized, with a very nice bathroom. The place looks lovely, especially the living room and all the candles in the bathroom, which give it a real spa vibe. The kitchen is gorgeous, and there’s a nice trail in the backyard. Breakfast was well made, but the host didn’t seem welcoming. She barely spoke to us beyond asking what we wanted, and when we tried making a little morning conversation, she seemed unhappy and unfriendly. Another couple had a similar experience, so we stopped trying to talk. It’s a beautiful place to stay if you don’t expect a warm welcome, though there may be hygiene flaws. I don’t think we’d book here again.

The rates are very reasonable, and the rooms are nice with great privacy. It’s a pretty great place to stay in Rupert, especially with a fully stocked kitchen for cooking in.

The host was lovely to talk with, and having breakfast included was a nice bonus. I stayed two nights and had a wonderful experience. It’s centrally located, with a spacious bedroom, clean and comfortable linens, cozy pillows, and an inviting feel. The bathroom was roomy and well maintained too. I’d definitely choose it again next time I visit.

Great location, but the room was really dirty. There were lots of dead bugs, and the area under the bed looked like it had never been cleaned. I got a terrible spider bite during my stay.

My dogs and I loved staying here. The B&B is central, just a quick drive to shops and the waterfront, and there’s a beautiful city park behind the house with easy access to walking trails. Andrea is a great host, and I enjoyed our morning chats. She runs a doggy hotel and spa in town, and when she noticed my senior dog’s nails were long, she offered to fit her in for a trim. Andrea has three cute dogs herself and clearly cares about guests who travel with their pups.
