April Point Harbour House

Most days we were happy just staying on the deck, watching the scenery change, the wildlife, and boats, cruise ships, and float planes go by. We saw porpoises, otters, seals, sea lions, deer, eagles, herons, and more. The dock was handy, and when it got warm we could cool off with a swim. Inside, the Harbour House felt welcoming and warm, with the original log-home charm alongside updated beds, furniture, decor, bedding, and towels. The deck furniture was comfortable and the bbq was good. There are wall-mounted TVs for movies and streaming, though we didn't use them, and the Wifi worked well when we occasionally checked in for work. We did venture out to the Farmer's market, Aroma Coffee, Farm to Table for cinnamon buns, and Rebecca Spit for a walk. The nearby grocery store was well stocked and convenient. Mark was friendly, helpful, and easy to communicate with, and clearly takes care of the clean, well-maintained home. We had such a nice time and are already thinking about coming back. Thanks for making our vacation so good, Mark!

Watching the seals have breakfast in the morning was a lovely bonus. The place was beautiful, clean, comfortable, and well maintained, with everything working and all the amenities. The hosts were friendly, quick to answer questions, and had good recommendations.
