Gite B&B du Vieux-Port

The breakfast was included and so delicious, probably the best I've had at a B&B. The hosts were beyond nice, and it was lovely talking with them. We also really liked the rooftop terrace. Our room in Old Qc was spacious, very clean, well lit by natural light, and had everything we needed. The shared bathroom was roomy and always clean. It's an ideal base for a Quebec City visit, with everything in walking distance. I'd stay again and recommend it to everyone I know.

My sister and I had two glorious days in Old Quebec City, and our dogs were happy there too. The hosts were so welcoming, and everything was perfect, especially breakfast. We can't say enough good things about this B&B. We'll be back.

Our room was spacious and very clean, with a huge king bed and a comfortable mattress that wasn't too soft or firm. My fiancé has back problems and slept well every night. The bathroom felt luxurious, with a strong hot shower in the bath and toiletries provided. It was shared with one other occupied room, but neither of us ever had to wait. Francois was meticulous about cleaning, and wipes were available in the bathroom too. Breakfast was outstanding, with fresh fruit and coffee ground when ordered, plus hot homemade crepes, frittatas, and buckwheat egg omelette. We loved eating on the flower-filled terrace Martin looks after every day. Francois and Martin were friendly and helpful with places to visit and eat, and made a five star breakfast. Francois kept in touch from booking onward. Our VIA train was late, so we arrived at 11pm. I called to say we'd be around 10pm, and he knew about the delay and stayed up for us. There's no reception desk, so call the host with your arrival time. Thanks, Francois and Martin, for making the stay extra awesome. We loved Quebec City, and you were part of the experience. The room was very nice, and the host was incredibly welcoming. It's conveniently situated near the main tourist areas in Quebec.
