Trenton Park Cottages

The gardens are absolutely beautiful, and the owners and staff were amazing. I felt welcome right away, even though a significant delay on my first day meant I arrived quite late. I was alone at first and stayed in a well-kept, very clean Classic Room with 2 double beds and all the essentials for any length of visit. When my husband and daughter joined me for a stay of about a month, we upgraded to a larger unit. I can’t praise the Park Motel in Trenton enough. The people were friendly and accommodating, and the rooms were clean and comfortable.

The rooms were comfortable, and I got a good night’s rest. Being near Lake Ontario makes the location ideal for scenic views and water activities. The stay was pleasant, though some maintenance would help. Fresh paint and other cosmetic updates could improve the feel of the place, and cigarette butts littering the property took away from the otherwise nice experience.

The owners were as pleasant as ever and even remembered my dad and me when we came back to the Park Motel after many years for a spring fishing trip. We like the location and the space at the rear, where we can back the truck and boat right up to the units. The place looks a little rundown, but the owners are working to improve it. Covid was hard on many of us. The room was as expected, and we plan to return, hopefully before so many years pass again.

I needed long-term accommodation at the very last minute, and the owners were extremely accommodating. The location is super convenient, the rooms are clean, and mine has a fully equipped kitchen.
