Froggy and Kelsey at Asia Nova really made this reunion for our group of nine from Edmonton. We asked about karaoke, and they let us take over and have fun, two nights in a row. Yan was professional and a gentleman, and we’ll definitely be back as a group. The hotel staff were amazing too. They put our rooms near one another and stayed flexible with the banquet room when our numbers changed at the last minute. We came for our 40th high school reunion. Five stars.

The kitchen was great for cooking, and the on-site restaurant was wonderful. We had a nice room with a beautiful view, and the layout was good. Most of the room was clean, though a few plates and forks still had egg or cheese residue on them. Parking and access were easy, and getting to and from the hotel was simple. The drive to the springs was short and straightforward.

The hot tub had a thick scum line on the tile above the water, which was disgusting and made the hotel’s standards of cleanliness feel unacceptable. I also found the customer service from the staff leadership lacking. The bed was comfortable, but to me this is a one-star hotel. I booked a king room for two nights in early September for an early October stay. The website listed check-in at 4:00 pm. When we arrived at 4:30, nine guests were waiting with one desk employee and a trainee who seemed unable to do the job. They were answering the phone while we stood there. I came back at 6:00 and found the same employees still struggling through check-ins. I waited another 20 minutes while two more guests got their room cards. Radium has a dozen other places worth trying, and I’ll check those out before ever returning to this Prestige Hotel.

The location is perfect if you’re passing through radium Hot Springs, with mountain views from the windows, a restaurant, a hot tub, and guest laundry that helped us a lot. I’d definitely recommend staying here. We had originally booked at Cedar Motel, which is also managed by prestige. That stay had quite a few issues and wasn’t the best, but they compensated us and made sure the inconveniences were addressed.
