Harlem Stonegate B&B

The view was beautiful, and we felt at home thanks to the warm hospitality. Dave was very talkative, and the bicycle routes he shared helped us avoid getting attacked by deer flies along the way. His wife made us a lovely warm breakfast, and they were both so nice. We felt lucky to stay here. They seem to work very hard to keep this place going, and we’d definitely recommend a visit. Megan

The quiet countryside around Harlem Stonegate B&B was beautiful, with family farms and wild spaces all around. There were plenty of sights to see, and we got excellent restaurant recommendations. Dave and Alicia have put so many lovely details into the historic stone house, where we felt right at home. We spent two nights there and really enjoyed the delicious breakfast and morning coffee. We’d highly recommend a stay in this beautiful historic part of Ontario.

We only wish we’d had more time at Harlem Stonegate. Dave and Alicia were so kind and ready to help, whether with great suggestions for places to eat or by getting up early to make us a delicious breakfast with produce from their own garden. The house has three guest rooms, and we stayed in one. It was comfortable and very clean, including the bathroom. The peaceful setting and thoughtful hospitality made the stay feel just perfect. Thank you both!

After breakfast, Dave showed us around the peaceful property, then we had a lovely chat with both hosts before heading off. Alicia and Dave are down to earth and clearly work hard to make guests feel at ease. The house has loads of character, and they’ve put a lot of effort into making it calming. Alicia welcomed us on the beautiful wraparound porch and showed us to our cozy room. We slept well, and breakfast was so delicious that we cleaned our plates. We felt our stress lifting as soon as we arrived. We enjoyed the stay so much and hope to see them again soon. It’s a special place to stay.
