Canopee Lit

The rain came in through the leaky sky window, but we managed to keep it out with the curtain. It was still a wonderful experience. Shampoo and shower gel would have been helpful too.

The bubble is an inflatable structure with a clear dome, so it feels like sleeping under the stars in the woods while staying comfortable. Ours was clean and dry, with a comfy bed, electricity, a little outdoor patio, and a private bathroom next to it in the woods. The bathroom is simple, with a dry toilet, and the sink and shower have low-pressure water from a nearby stream. Don't expect a hotel bathroom, which wouldn't really make sense here. Breakfast is included, and the pizza at the local restaurant is good by Canadian standards. It's not the cheapest place to stay in Canada, but we really enjoyed the experience and felt it was worth the price.

Anyone looking for luxury will be disappointed. You're staying in the forest, surrounded by nature and animals. I knew what I'd booked, so I don't think it makes sense to judge the accommodation by normal standards. That's why I gave it five stars.

The pizza at the main check-in was good, but I left disappointed. For an older couple, it would've helped if someone could bring our luggage to the bubble. The walk was about fifteen minutes over difficult ground, with our bags in a wagon. The bubble had no table or proper chairs, refrigerator, AC, or heat. Its zipper door was poorly maintained and kept getting stuck, which made the tent deflate. The bathrooms were outside and unheated, and the water wasn't potable.
